Go Ape Challenges Nation to Live Life Adventurously in Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters

FREDERICK, Md.-- Go Ape, a zip line and treetop adventure course company, is challenging people to do something adventurous this fall for its National Live Life Adventurously Day on September 27, 2015.

National Live Life Adventurously Day (NLLA Day) will be a celebration of outdoor fun, healthy living and the spirit of adventure in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. As part of the celebration, with every ticket purchased at any of its 12 locations nationwide for September 27, Go Ape will donate a ticket to Big Brothers Big Sisters (valued at $27 - $57 each). Each of Go Ape's courses will also host 28 Bigs and Littles on National Live Life Adventurously Day, and representatives from Big Brothers Big Sisters plan to attend.

"We want National Live Life Adventurously Day to become the day when people break free from the ordinary and do something outside of their comfort zone," said Dan D'Agostino, Go Ape USA Managing Director. "We also believe strongly in supporting the communities surrounding each of our courses. Big Brothers Big Sisters has been building positive mentor relationships for kids across the country for more than 100 years so it was a natural partnership that developed through a shared vision."

"We are excited and grateful that Go Ape selected Big Brothers Big Sisters to participate in their inaugural National Live Life Adventurously Day. Go Ape is providing a great opportunity for Bigs and Littles to build more trust between each other, share a unique experience while having fun at the same time," said Barron J. Damon, VP of Partnership Development of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle (North Carolina). "Our new partnership will also allow children an opportunity to become more physically active and hopefully create healthier lifestyles."

In the lead up to NLLA Day, Go Ape is challenging its tribe to live life adventurously and make a video commitment to do something out of their comfort zone. Submissions that are shared online and tagged with #livelifeadventurously will be randomly selected to be featured on Go Ape's National Live Life Adventurously landing page: http://livelifeadventurously.goape.com.

A complete list of locations can be found at http://goape.com/courses. While it is not required to participate in a Go Ape Treetop Adventure course to celebrate NLLA Day, Go Ape recommends making reservations for anyone who wants to get up in the trees.
