APLIX Inc. has been selected by the Synthetic Turf Council Board for STC Certification as a Hook and Loop Material Manufacturer/ Supplier. APLIX’s self-gripping fasteners have been used in numerous synthetic turf applications, including but not limited to professional sporting venues, collegiate athletic fields, state/local recreational facilities, etc.

The Board of Directors for non-profit National Swimming Pool Foundation elected Jim Mock as a board member. He is director of Ecolab’s Aqua Balance Program and has worked for the Plymouth, Minn., company for 39 years.

Maggie Daley Corners Climbing Market

Chicago, Ill.—Redeveloped open spaces in Maggie Daley Park will include 19,000 square feet of climbing surfaces. The overall design brings more than 60 rope lines with lead towers reaching heights of 42 feet and over 70 bouldering lines at various angles.
