Cre8Play Designs Healing Garden

Cre8Play recently designed and built a healing garden and playground for Children's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The rooftop garden, just outside the intensive care unit, covers 6,000 square feet and provides a space where patients and their families can get outside for some fresh air, a break in the hospital routine, and a chance to just play.

Healing gardens that provide a connection with nature and the out-of-doors have been shown to calm patients and their stressed families and improve health outcomes.

The playground and "race tracks" are open now, and plants and music will be added in the  spring.
