Located in Sibley, Mo., this 30 feet by 40 feet outdoor kitchen boasts a 30-foot granite bar. Product was provided by Cripple Creek Rock and Landscaping Materials. Flooring was laid by local stone masons who custom cut each slab of Indian Sunset Flagstone. The cabinets are Brazilian Cherry with hand worked stain glass inlay. The space includes a roaring fireplace, accompanied by two flatscreen tvs at each end. Viking appliances include full size stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, trash compactor, wine cooler, ice maker, grill and oven.
The outdoor kitchen is situated to provide a view of the glass bottom pool, fire columns, grotto, fire pit, hot tub, gazebo, and landscaping extraordinaire. Pump room and mechanicals for the swimming pool are located in the full basement of this outdoor kitchen, which is also used as a storage facility for outdoor furniture during winter months.
The Tung and groove ceiling is held up by steel trees that Robert designed to hold up the kitchen roof, and were custom built by local artesian, Trail of Tears, who also created and installed all of the amenities in the original Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Mo. A rear deck and railing is constructed with steel tree branches (Trail of Tears) and overlooks acreages of land cascade trees, home to birds and other critters, and a dry wet creek bed.
