We recently sent out surveys to companies who provide restroom structures to parks and recreation professionals. CXT Precast Concrete Products
Products: Gunnison, Cascadian, Rocky Mountain single vault. Tioga Special, Tioga Special with Chase, Double Cascadian, Double Cascadian with Chase, Double Rocky Mountain and Double Rocky Mountain with Chase double vault restrooms. Mendocino and Schweitzer utility buildings. Ozark I, Ozark II, Cortez, Montrose, Taos, Arapahoe, Navajo, Cheyenne, Teton and Diablo flush, shower, combination and concession buildings. GSA for Federal agencies as well as state contracts in many states are currently in place. Pricing based on specific needs.
Plumbed or waterless: Vaulted waterless facilities and a wide range of flush and shower facilities.
Type of toilets: Vault, Flush.
Structure materials: Steel reinforced and colored through 5,000-psi concrete in brick, block, stone, wood, metal, and other exterior textures. Floors, walls, roof panels and interior partitions are made of concrete.
Vandalism & graffiti resistance features: Anti-graffiti exterior sealers, bullet, fire earthquake and bomb-resistant concrete construction facilities with heavy duty doors, wall vents, Lexan windows and concealed fixtures.
Pre-fabricated or assembled on-site: Pre-fabricated at the plant. They come pre-engineered, pre-wired and pre-plumbed for installation. Vault toilets install in less than one day, small flush and shower units in a day and a half and the bigger facilities are completely installed in less than three days.
ADA-compliance features: Designed to be state and Federal ADA-compliant.
Single, double, multi-user: Full range offered.
Restroom-only, showers or multi-use: The entire range of flush, vault, shower, concession and combination facilities.
Environmental considerations: Standard building code compliance is 250 lbs. per square foot of snow load, 140 mile per hour wind load and a zone four earthquake load. The buildings have withstood hurricanes, tornadoes, significant floods and earthquakes around the country.
Site requirements: Vault toilets are installed just about anywhere. Flush, shower, concession, utility and combination facilities are set on a compacted gravel base with engineered calculations to show building code compliance.
Options: Options include tile floors, skylights, front entry screens, stainless steel toilet and sink fixtures, hot water heaters, insulated roof and wall panels, wall-mounted room heater, exterior mounted drinking fountains, coin-operated showers, electronic door locks and various exterior wall textures such as split face or slump block, stone, brick, stucco, exposed aggregate, horizontal lap siding, board and batt, barnwood and roof textures such as cedar shake and ribbed metal.
Warranty policy: One year on CXT installations and facilities against defects in materials and workmanship and seven years on the ABS-lined vaults against leaks into or out of the vault itself.
Design/engineering services offered: All CXT facilities come with the particular state's engineered drawings and calculations. All Federal facilities and state facilities are also inspected by that agency during the manufacturing process for full compliance to the specifications and engineered drawings and calculations.

Easi-Set Industries
Products and prices: Precast concrete buildings for storage, hazard materials, restrooms, pump and equipment housing. Standard 10' x 12' x 8' I.D., from $8,900 +/-. Standard 12' x 20' x 8' I.D., from $12,000 +/-. Standard Hazmat, from $14,000 +/-. Outback Vault Restrooms: Blueridge, from $10,00 +/-, Double Sierra, from $25,000 +/-.
Plumbed or waterless: Buildings can be adapted to meet a variety of site conditions with or without public sewer and water connections.
Pre-plumbed and pre-wired: Buildings are available to customer-supplied specification as to interior finish and fit out. Buildings available as a shell or turnkey ready to use.
Type of toilets -- vault, composting or flush: Buildings are available to customer-supplied specification as to interior finish and fit out using vault, composting or flush-style fixtures and accessories. Easi-Set buildings available as a shell or turnkey ready to use. OutBack vault restrooms use Fresh Air Naturally (FAN) technology.
Structure materials: Pre-cast concrete, 5,000 psi.
Vandalism & graffiti resistance features: Bullet tested to UL 752, Level 4 (30 caliber rifle fired at 15'), 5,000 psi steel reinforced concrete. No-maintenance exterior finishes available. Tamper-proof hinges, dead bolt locks and steel doors.
Pre-fabricated or assembled on-site: Easi-Set buildings are easily transported and installed. Standard models are delivered pre-assembled and field installation on larger custom sizes. Installation is in hours instead of weeks.
ADA-compliance features: Meets Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings & Facilities (ADAAG), California Accessibility Regulations, Title 24, and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS).
Single, double, multi-user: Easi-Set buildings are available as single, double, multi-user units or in any combination needed. Units can be installed as modular units.
Restroom-only, showers or multi-use: Easi-Set buildings are available as restroom only as single, double, multi-user units with or without showers with press boxes, concessions, and storage combined as needed.
Environmental considerations: Saves time with less impact to surrounding environment, re-locatable; can be moved as needs change. Weather-tight features include turned down roof to prevent moisture penetration, above door rain-guard for drip protection, galvanized door and frame with specially reinforced mechanical hold open arm, step-down floor for additional water-tight integrity, raised aluminum threshold with integral neoprene seal provides moisture, dust, and pest resistance, unique radial post-tension design for superior weather-tight construction, roof load capacity of 60 PSF with higher loads available, floor load 250 PSF standard, sloped roof panels with architectural ribbed edge. Meets BOCA, SBC, UBC, ICBO, UL, ANSI, ACI, and IBC 2003 requirements. Seismic Zone 4 rating and hurricane resistant up to 130 mph winds loading standard. Easi-Set buildings are fire resistant of 1.5 hours with additional protection available.
Site requirements: No foundations or footings are required. A level four-inch layer of sand or crushed stone on an approved sub-grade is all the preparation needed. Installation can be completed within a few hours.
Options: Unlimited optional features; the Easi-Set building can be shipped equipped for all applications.Optional sizes available up to 40' wide by 150' with interior heights of 12'.
Warranty policy: One year on materials and workmanship.

Products: A variety of pre-fabricated restrooms and toilet/shower room combinations.
Pre-plumbed and pre-wired: Units with flush toilets, urinals and sinks are all pre-plumbed. Units with lighting packages or electrical heat are all pre-wired.
Type of toilets -- vault, composting or flush: All types available.
Structure materials: Variety of materials, from wood, steel, fiberglass, cement board, cedar and bricks.
Vandalism & graffiti resistance features: All units are vandal and graffiti resistant.
Pre-fabricated or assembled on-site: Pre-fabricated in the factory, and depending on the unit and the amenities required, there may be some assembly on-site.
ADA-compliance features: Restrooms are ADA-compliant.
Single, double, multi-user: All.
Restroom-only, showers or multi-use: All types, including restroom/concession combos.
Site requirements: In the case of vault toilets, customers required to do the excavation, arrange for backfill material, backfill and compact around the tank and approach area. In the case of the water flush style customers provide a concrete base for the building with water supply, drain line and power (one circuit 15 amp 120V-60cy).
Options: Hand dryers, insulation, heat, solar power and electrical programmable door locks are available.
Warranty policy: Five years.

ADA-compliance features: The restroom areas are designed to be Federal ADA-compliant.
Single, double, multi-user: Various floor plans are available and the company will work to create a building with the needed usage.

Environmental considerations: Seismic zone 4; snow, 250 psf; floor, 250 psf; wind, 130 mph.
Site requirements: Compacted gravel base, no foundations or footers needed, crane clearance above the pad for off-loading.
