Once you’ve checked in and been handed your badge and bag of goodies, our kindly staff and helpful volunteers from ACA Ohio and OPRA will point you down a flight of stairs to the main ball room where you’ll find a host of administrative and programming exhibits from the likes of Furniture Concepts,, K&K Insurance, CampRegister, Markel Insurance and more.

After you’ve created a few arts and crafts projects, played the latest indoor game or solved your trickiest risk management issue, head next door (literally – out the ballroom door and into the pool area) to the indoor aquatic and concession facility where you’ll find the latest in aquatic gaming products, concessionaire offerings, pool maintenance products and more.

Continue your aquatic and concession adventure by exiting the indoor pool and hitting the outdoor pool to play with the latest outdoor aquatic products, including sprayground/waterpark equipment, lifeguard stands, pool cleaning equipment, poolside site furnishings, shade structures and more.

This might be a good time to stop by the gazebo at the end of the outdoor pool for a quick lunch. Sit on one of the picnic benches and catch your breath -– you’re going to need it. Spread out below you is a virtual canopy of playground manufacturers, sporting and fitness.

After lunch, take a turn on a playground from the likes of BCI Burke or Miracle Recreation or get in a quick game of sand volleyball. Not your speed, head down the hill 20 yards and participate in one of the many programs taking place in the outdoor gymnasium set up by Athletica Inc. Kick a soccer goal, participate in a fitness class or view a skatepark demonstration.

At this point, you’ve reached the halfway point of your tour. Exit the outdoor sports facility (located on the outdoor tennis courts) and walk around the corner to the main lodge (25-50 yards) and enter the Parks and Outdoor Recreation area, home to the brand new softball field, climbing walls, tents, site furnishing, extreme sports (mountain boards, etc.), tents, cabins, lodging and so much more.

You’ll be back in this area at 5 p.m. the first day of the show for the big Network Jamboree – an end-of-the-day social including LIVE! entertainment, cash bar and appetizers. Make sure to bring a banner from whatever group or association you represent so we can hang it on the back of the stage for all to see!

After you’ve had your fill of the fun and excitement in this area, head toward the top of the nature trail where a naturalist or volunteer will walk you down the hill through the woods to the marina area. Here you’ll find water trampolines, docking systems, waterfront safety and storage products and a host of boats, boats, boats. Jump in a canoe or sailboat or kayak and take a leisurely spin around the lake.

When you get back in, stop at that manufacturer’s booth located right there, next to the shore, to take advantage of a special show deal.

When it’s time to dry off, jump on one of the golf car and/or utility vehicle shuttles and drive yourself up to the grounds maintenance area located in the parking lot in front of the Lodge (you drove right by this area on your way into the show earlier that morning.) Here you can drive any vehicle John Deere or Ventrac makes through a test track. Drop the mower and cut some grass. Test out the 4-wheel drive on the utility vehicle. Looking for bigger vehicles? Talk with the folks at Bucks Fabricating about their dump trucks or walk through one of Carpenter Bus Sales big rigs.

At the end of the day, relax in one of the comfortable rooms at the Lodge, camp at the campground, rent out a cabin by the lake for your entire group or make the short drive to historic Cambridge for a nice dinner and local hotel.
