New Toolcat Options

WEST FARGO, N.D. -- Bobcat Company has added two factory options to its Toolcat 5600 utility work machine. The new B-Series 5600 is available with a turbo-charged, diesel engine and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics, which allows the new attachments to be used.

Additional attachments -- including a high-flow snow blower, wood chipper and stump grinder -- are compatible with the new high-flow option.

These are added to the more than 20 attachments already available, including mowers, snow blades, post-hole augers, sprayers, sand spreaders, grapples and angle brooms.

The 5600 comes standard with 18 gpm of hydraulic flow, while the new high-flow option provides 26 gpm. An optional 56-hp, turbo-charged, Kubota diesel engine is Tier-II emissions-compliant.

The turbo model has an additional fuel tank, providing a 92 percent increase in fuel capacity and improved performance in high altitudes.

The Toolcat 5600 combines all-wheel steer and four-wheel drive in one machine, which gives it the ability to go through tough ground conditions, including mud and snow, while still being agile enough to work in sensitive areas like turf and grass. The 5600 also has a 17-foot outside turn diameter.

Telescopic Tool Carriers

WEST FARGO, N.D. -- Bobcat Company introduces two new telescopic tool carriers (TTC). The VersaHandler TTC V723 and V723 FL (frame level) models feature more lift capacity while maintaining the same compact size. The frame level feature allows the operator to level the machine on uneven ground. The wheelbase on the new tool carriers is four inches longer than previous models, allowing an increased lifting capacity, giving each a rated load capacity of 7,000 lbs.

Both multi-purpose machines feature a maximum lift height of 23 feet. VersaHandler TTCs utilize a light, rigid frame for better stability and reduced flex. The V723 model is available with a climate-controlled cab (HVAC). The V723 FL offers the choice of either a climate-controlled cab or an open canopy. VersaHandler TTCs feature three steering modes -- all-wheel steer for tight turning, front-wheel steer for road travel (top travel speed is 18 mph), and crab-steer for positioning loads from side to side.
