Water Ways

Here in central Idaho, we’re surrounded by water—literally. We’re home to some of the world’s best whitewater rafting and kayaking rivers. We’re home to spectacular fishing—everything from salmon and steelhead to multiple varieties of trout, bass, and even musky and sturgeon. And, we’re home to crystal-clear lakes offering opportunities to paddleboard, cliff jump, surf, wakeboard, ski, canoe, and swim.

Like most kids, my kids are in love with the water.

A typical summer day sees them head off to work in the morning and stop by the lake on the way home for a quick float or swim. Day in and day out, they find their way to the lake to cool off or swim with friends. It’s a ritual.

This issue is dedicated to the power of water and offers a variety of ideas how you can offer water-based activities that are both fun and safe. Of course, we’re not a one-trick pony, so you’ll find a host of other cool features.

All in all, I’m happy with this month’s effort. I hope you are, too.

Till next month…
