Floura Teeter Hires, Promotes

Baltimore, Md. – Floura Teeter Landscape Architects, Inc. announces the addition of two new hires and one promotion:

  • New hire Alice Storm Jones is a Professional Landscape Architect and has 13 years of experience in landscape design.  Alice is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction. She has served as project manager and team lead for a variety of projects including retail development, campus planning and design, high-end resorts and international master planning and design documentation. Notable local projects include the UMBC Performing Arts and Humanities Facility, Belvedere City Market, Towson Arena and the National Institutes of Health Children’s Garden design.

  • New hire Art Perez is a Landscape Designer who received a UM Veteran Scholarship and earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland College Park. He also minored in Landscape Management. Art is a former surgical technician with the United States Navy, with service including deployments to Japan, Kuwait and Iraq. Thanks to his work with the National Park Service and an internship with an urban revitalization project, he is skilled at using representational media, such as hand rendering and modeling, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling programs.

  • In addition to the two new hires, FTLA has promoted Jeff Stump , a professional Landscape Architect and LEED Green Associate, to Senior Associate . Prior to joining FTLA in 2007, Stump worked at nurseries and supervised landscape maintenance crews for public and private clients, giving him first-hand knowledge of landscape materials in addition to his design-build experience and excellent computer graphic skills. He has played an important role in FTLA projects including the landmark Intercounty Connector highway project and the Four Seasons/Legg Mason Promenade in Harbor East.
