Round Rock Egg Hunt

Round Rock, Texas - Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and Seton Medical Center Williamson invite residents to come out to the Play for All Abilities Park for the 2nd annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5 . This is a family-centered event, focusing on active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Siblings are welcome to participate in the hunt. Pre-registration for this event is required. There are a limited number of participants allowed in each hunt, so residents are encouraged to register early to secure a space. Residents can register for the event online at RoundRockRecreation.com. There will be no event day registration. Residents may pick up egg hunt wristbands on April 3 and 4 at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center or on site the day of the event. Residents are encouraged to bring their registration confirmation to pick up wristbands. The Play for All Park is located at 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd.

Play for All Hunting Schedule:

9:00 a.m. Special needs children ages 5 and under with siblings of any age.

9:45 a.m. Special needs children ages 5 and under with siblings of any age.

10:30 a.m. Special needs children ages 6 and older with siblings of any age.

11:15 a.m. Special needs children ages 6 and older with siblings of any age.

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will also host the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt and a Movies in the Park event featuring the family movie “ Rise of the Guardians ” after the last egg hunt is completed. All the fun takes place Thursday, April 17 beginning at 7:15 p.m. at Old Settlers Park Lakeview Pavilion and Festival Area. The event is sponsored by Randalls Market, Flix Brewhouse, Nextcare Urgent Care, Fleet Feet Sports, Concentra Urgent Care, Kona Ice and Spirit 105.9 radio station.

This Egg Hunt is unique as participants hunt for candy and prizes in the dark!  All participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight to help them hunt for eggs filled with candy and prizes.  The registration fees are just $4 through April 6 and $5 through April 16. Residents may purchase tickets online at RoundRockRecreation.com. Residents may also purchase tickets by phone by calling 512 218-3220 or purchase tickets in person at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center or the PARD office located at 301 West Bagdad, Suite 250. Residents are encouraged to register early as there will be no event day registration. Movies in the park featuring “ Rise of the Guardians ” is FREE and open to the public with no ticket needed. Residents may pick up their flashlight egg hunt wristbands on April 16 & 17 at Clay Madsen Recreation Center or on event day at the Lakeview Pavilion at Old Settlers Park.

Flashlight Egg Hunt and Movies in the Park Hunting Schedule:

7:15 p.m. Twilight Egg Hunt, for ages 0-4 years. Not quite as dark for our younger hunters. Only one parent will be allowed in the hunt ring to assist, Parent must stay with hunter at all times.

8:15 p.m. Flashlight Parent Assisted Hunt, Ages 5 Years and Older- One parent will be allowed in the hunt ring to assist, Recommended for our younger hunters. Parent must stay with hunter at all times.

8:45 p.m. Flashlight Children Only Hunt, No parents allowed in the hunt ring, Recommended for our older hunters.

9:00 p.m. Movie in the Park featuring Rise of the Guardians, free for the entire family.
