A Pop-Up Park In Buffalo

Not every playground project has to be permanent!

The architects at JKLAstudio in Buffalo, N.Y., were concerned about kids not having enough unstructured playtime, so they gathered a bunch of wood scraps, tires, ropes, and pipes and turned a vacant lot into a pop-up park one rainy day in June.

Looks like everyone--kids and adults--got in on the construction and playtime fun!
