Top 10 National Parks

Who doesn't love a top 10 list?

Here's a list of the Top 10 National Parks in the United States, courtesy of Vacation Homes.

It's no surprise that the Grand Canyon is number 1. But we here at PRB were delighted to see that our hometown park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, is also on the list!

Here's what Vacation Homes has to say about our sentimental favorite:

"The only national park in Ohio, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park covers wide area of 33,000 acres along the banks of Cuyahoga River. It boasts rich diversity of flora and fauna and provides both solitude and recreation to its residents and visitors. Enthusiasts could find plenty of surprises here: rolling hills, caves, waterfalls, vistas of tree-covered hills, secluded trails through rugged gorges, marshes where wood ducks, herons and beavers thrive. The park is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, such as dozens, deer and beaver, and more than 3,000 species of plants. It includes array of restored and well preserved displays 19th and early 20th century sustainable farming and rural or pastoral living. On the other hand, you could also take advantage of the multiple contemporary activities, such as: scenic excursions, art exhibits and outdoor concerts that the Cuyahoga Valley National Park also offers."
