BCI Burke Adds Fitness Stations

BCI Burke's new HealthQuest Fitness Stations are like playgrounds for exercisers.

Designed for ages 13 and up, the stations provide the tools and information needed to complete a total body workout for beginner, intermediate and advanced users.

Individuals can work at their own pace and intensity, modifying the suggested exercises, circuits and workouts to suit their own needs.

Early in the design phase, Burke turned to professional exercise and health trainer Lynn Roethke for assistance in developing the extensive catalog of custom warm-up, cool-down and exercise routines.

Roethke is an accomplished athlete, certified personal trainer and business owner. A two-time judo Olympian and silver medalist in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, she reigns as one of the most accomplished American judo athletes in the history of the sport.

She continues to teach and coach judo to children and adults and provides personal training at Club Olympia in Fond du Lac, Wisc.

“Learning about the benefits of getting and staying fit at a young age is important, and establishing regular exercise habits will ensure a lifetime of health and well-being,” Roethke said. “But the good news is that you can begin at any age.

"Burke’s HealthQuest Fitness Stations provide an excellent variety of workout opportunities and guidance for anyone, at any fitness and experience level. And they’re designed to be fun,” she added.

Combining the advanced science of total body workout and conditioning technology with good old-fashioned playground fun, HealthQuest Fitness Stations include four circuits addressing the elements of a whole body workout from start to finish.

Separate workout stations address upper body, stretching and balance, core strength and cardiovascular exercises.

Stations are available either as a complete workout circuit program or individually, allowing customers to expand their exercise circuit as budget and space allow.

BCI Burke, with headquarters in Fond du Lac, is a premier manufacturer of commercial playground, park, and recreation equipment and an avid champion of health and fitness for children and adults.
