Akron, OH -- The Plastic Lumber Company, Inc. has introduced “The City Bench”, its newest maintenance-free bench for outdoor settings. The new bench features a sleek, stylish design and premium grade recycled plastic lumber slats offered in a large selection of UV stabilized color. The company says their product resists splinters, rot and does not need painting.
The new bench also features heavy duty, powder coated metal frames (available in many colors), hidden stainless steel fasteners and ships completely assembled in standard six feet or eight feet lengths. The picture above shows cedar colored recycled plastic lumber slats and black frames.

Sarasota, FL -- Apollo Sunguard Systems, Inc. has introduced Aplay Towers – a new line of fabric playground canopies and obstacle free supports. The new canopies are made with Sunguard Shade Cloth, a specially engineered, knitted polyethylene fabric. And, the tower assembly is attached directly to the playground equipment – creating a unique obstacle-free design eliminates the need for large steel posts, which can be dangerous for children at play.
According to the manufacturer, the canopies offer 97 percent UV protection, are available in sizes up to 25 feet by 25 feet, come in various colors and configurations and can provide shade that is as much as 20 degrees cooler than standard plastic roofs.
